This May I will be graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Policy, ecosystems emphasis. My thesis work involves spider collection and identification from the Lake Superior National Estuarine Research Reserve in Douglas County, Wisconsin.
Fall of 2018, I will be beginning a Doctoral program in Plant, Insect, and Microbial Sciences at the University of Missouri-Columbia. My thesis work will involve building effective habitats for insect pollinators such as bees and monarch butterflies.
My career goal is to become an ecology and general science professor, in order to share knowledge with the next generation of scholars.
Interests: Exotic pet care, spending time outside, and looking for insects!
